Dr. Joebelle Bonete is a devoted optometrist committed to providing warm, patient-centered care. Originally from Makawao, Hawaii and now practicing in Portland, she empowers her patients to prioritize their vision health through meaningful connections.
A graduate of the University of Missouri – St. Louis College of Optometry, Dr. Bonete was honored with the Optelec Excellence in Low Vision Award before completing her residency in primary care and ocular disease at the VA Portland Health Care System.
Dr. Bonete is a diplomate of the American Board of Optometry and a member of the Oregon Optometric Physicians Association, American Optometric Association, and American Academy of Optometry. Off-duty, you can find her at a karaoke bar with family and friends, rooting for the Trailblazers, or exploring the PNW with her fiancé and poodle.
