Quality Lenses, Concerned Care, Patient Education and Competitive Pricing.

Contact lenses give freedom from glasses for many people. They allow more natural vision for life's activities including driving, social time, work and sports. We encourage you to ask us if contacts could improve your comfort, appearance and performance.

Patients that that have previously struggled with contact lenses may be able to wear other lens styles including the new high oxygen materials. One bad experience does not mean that you can not wear contact lenses.

More Oxygen for your Eye!

In the last few years we have had a revolution in contact lens materials that allows significantly more oxygen to your cornea. The result is that you will experience an improvement in lens comfort and eye health, with less chance of complications.

You will be able to wear your lenses longer and overnight wear will be safer. The new materials allow many previous "drop-outs" to return to successful contact lens wear.

Other advancements in contact lenses include improvements in Bifocal contact lenses, contacts for Astigmatism, and a better ability to manage dry eye problems and eye allergies.

Contact Lens Fitting and Prescription:

We take your contact lens comfort, clarity and safety seriously. We share in the responsibility to give you the maximum satisfaction for the longest time with your contacts. For your protection, it is necessary for us to evaluate the fit of your lenses before your supply of new lenses are ordered.

Fitting Contacts for New Wearers:

New contact lens patients require careful instruction, close monitoring and will often require modification of lens styles and powers. Fees are quoted based on the type of lens and style of lens and any expected complications. We will discuss options for your contact lenses and carefully answer any questions that you may have prior to ordering lenses.

Refitting and Reordering for Contact Lens:

If you already are wearing contact lenses, make sure you are wearing them when you come for your appointment. Bring your prescription information if you have it available. We do not charge extra to evaluate your contacts if you wear them to your appointment. We will charge extra contact lenses refitting fees if additional examination time is scheduled, if we change the power or brand of your contact lenses or if additional care is needed due to eye health problems.

Always wear your contacts to your eye examination unless you have significant eye health or comfort problems. Always bring your boxes or prescription with you. It will often save you money in refitting and follow-up fees.

Releasing Your Prescription:

We will gladly release your prescription after we have determined that your eyes are healthy, your lenses are safe and accurate, your contact lens fit is stable and we know the power and brand of the contact lenses. This will happen after appropriate evaluation and/or follow-up has been completed.

Any time a change in the lenses is required or additional office visits are required, additional fees will be charged.

Trial and Emergency Lenses Available!

We carry a good selection of trial lenses that are available for contact lens fittings and for emergency situations. If you are in a bind, call us and see if we can help.
